Heat Pumps
Heat supply consumes a lot of fossil energy and causes the largest CO2 emissions. With large heat pumps, these emissions can be significantly reduced.
When a heat pump runs on renewable energy, it generates heat without CO2. We know exactly how heat pumps are best used to achieve the greatest effect in every situation.
Ideally, our heat pumps generate at least three times more thermal energy than they consume in electricity. A tenfold increase is even possible!
HEAT NETWORKS
With local and district heating networks powered by climate-friendly energy, municipal districts can provide a secure, low-CO2 or CO2-free heat supply. We help you identify locally available potentials and integrate them into a climate-friendly solution.
A centrally managed heat supply saves energy and costs and plays a decisive role in the decarbonization of building heat. However, unlike electricity supply, most municipalities do not have a comprehensive heat network. Therefore, we work with you to develop a meaningful expansion of heat networks in your districts.
HEAT STORAGE
To have heat constantly available, storage media are usually also required. If heat is not consumed immediately, it usually needs to be stored near its point of origin.
District heating networks can effectively integrate large-volume gravel-water storage, salt storage, ice storage, or geothermal probe heat storage and water-bearing layers in the ground. This also enables heat storage over weeks and months for the flexible use of combined heat and power or power-to-heat systems.
